  • Relevant academic degree (at least Bachelor for senior roles; Diploma or certificate for support positions)
  • Professional certifications/memberships where applicable (e.g., ICPAK for audit)
  • No criminal record; must comply with Chapter Six of the Constitution
  • Both Good health and People with Disabilities

KenTrade Salary Structure

KenTrade follows a detailed salary scale governed by KPPSC regulations. While exact figures vary by grade and allowances, here’s an idea:

  • Account Interns earn around KSh 11,000 monthly
  • Salary scales for levels KTNA 2–KTNA 11 exist in the official salary scale file (latest update October 2019)
  • As an example, KTNA 7 roles typically attract KSh 150,000–200,000 base,  plus additional allowances (housing, medical).
  • Assistant and director-level positions (KTNA 4–2) earn significantly more, often between KSh 200,000–350,000+, depending on experience and allowances.
