NIS Recruitment 2025/2026 Application Form Portal

Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) Recruitment: The Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS), overseen by the Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB), is accepting applications for its 2025/2026 recruitment drive. This initiative aims to bolster national security, border controls, and immigration services across Nigeria.

Positions & Cadres

You can apply under one of three cadres:

  1. Superintendent Cadre (CONPASS 08–09): For degree/HND holders in fields like Law, Engineering, or related disciplines
  2. Inspectorate Cadre (CONHESS 06): For NCE/ND holders, including technical or health backgrounds
  3. Assistant Cadre (CONPASS 04/03): For SSCE/NECO with 4 to 5 credits, or trade-test certificate holders (drivers, artisans, etc.)


Eligibility Criteria for NIS Recruitment

To qualify, you must meet the following:

  • Nigerian by birth, aged 18 to 35 years
  • Educational Qualifications:
    • SSCE/NECO/GCE with 4 to 5 credits (Assistant Cadre)
    • NCE/ND/HND/BSc or higher for Inspectorate/Superintendent
  • Physical Requirements:
    • Male: height 1.65 m and chest 0.87 m
    • Female: height 1.60 m
  • Character & Health:
    • Clean criminal record
    • Medically fit (certificate from a government hospital)
    • No history of financial embarrassment
  • Additional: Computer literacy is a plus, especially for the online exams
